AMD has turned out a real rocket. The mobile Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 outpaces the Ryzen 9 5950X, and the iGPU is almost on par with the RTX 3050 Laptop

And this is all at a TDP of 54W New benchmark results for the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor have appeared on the web, and they look much more impressive than the previous ones.

The results were shared by GPD, a company known for its handheld game consoles. This makes the information more reliable.

We should start with the processor part. The flagship of the mobile lineup scores 124 and 1525 points in Cinebench 2024 in single-threaded and multi-threaded modes respectively.

For comparison, the mobile Ryzen 9 8845HS shows a result of about 105 and 970 points respectively, that is, the performance gain is simply huge. Even more impressive looks the comparison with desktop CPUs. The 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X shows approximately the same result in multi-threaded mode! And in single-threaded mode the novelty is able to compete with 16-core Ryzen 9 7950X.

Recall, Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 is a processor with TDP 15-54W.

As for iGPUs, everything looks great here too. Radeon 890M is 36% faster than Radeon 780M in games. In TimeSpy the new graphics core is 31% faster than the old one with TDP 72W and 51% faster than the same GPU with TDP 54W. By the way, the test novelty also had a TDP of 54W during the comparison.

As a result, the Radeon 890M confidently outperforms the RTX 2050 and catches up with the 50W RTX 3050 Laptop.
